They do stick with a nice W ;p It's a nice idea but may be op. Traps do a lot of damage and I wouldn't want them to nerf traps when they already have great utility. Puppets already dance when they start triggering and trying to escape multiple traps (including those of their fallen teammates)
If you wanna cut the damage by like 2/3rd and double the mana cost then maybe itll be possible.
