Riot, please ban smurf accounts that lose on purpose so they can carry a duo higher for money.

There needs to be a better way. Several of my last games there were players that were intentionally throwing games to push their accounts lower to carry players up. This guy went AD Fizz and went 0/6 to start. He then picked up a couple of kills to look "respectable" but he intentionally lost and lost badly. He gave most of his deaths to one champion to make him fed. Riot should be able to ban players that lose 80% of their games for a period of time (2 weeks) then all of the sudden win 65% with a particular duo partner. Ban them from ranked.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory. Did these players actually admit that they were doing this in chat? Report them. Otherwise, it sounds like you're just looking for reasons to blame teammates for every loss.

You only had two ranked games in the past week with a Fizz teammate. The one on Friday went 4/4/6, so that can't be it. This is your game on Monday: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1748674644/48863797?tab=overview

  • Fizz was AD, but the rest of your story doesn't match.
  • Fizz died to Orianna almost immediately after laning started, but then pulled off a successful tower dive on Xin Zhao without dying. That put him at 1/1. He never had a chance to go 0/6.
  • Contrary to what you said, Fizz didn't seem to target one enemy to feed. Fizz's deaths, in order, by killer:
    • Orianna
    • Orianna
    • Caitlyn
    • Xin Zhao
    • Cho'Gath
    • Cho'Gath
    • Caitlyn
    • Caitlyn
    • Xin Zhao
    • Cho'Gath
  • Fizz picked up more than "a couple of kills." He took down 2 turrets and had a 6 person Killing Spree, which was double your largest.
  • Fizz's final KDA was 11/10/6. He did seem to target one of the enemies, but not to feed her. 6 of Orianna's 12 deaths were by his hand.
  • Your final KDA was 11/12/7, not too dissimilar.

Almost every time someone posts a complaint about how other people keep throwing their games, it's really easy to see when they're not giving us the facts.

They have automated bans on intentional feeding that analyzes account performance per champion. Considering that they also ban MMR boosters, they certainly have a system in place to watch for statistical outliers. Everyone has win/loss streaks. You can't assume that just because you've had a 10 game win streak that the only reason you'd get a loss streak is because your teammates are throwing. The matchmaking system intentionally tries to find a placement that will consistently give you near equal wins and losses.
