Lost 2 ranked games and got demoted.

Can someone please explain this to me? You can even check my match history, my username is Livingdeadgirl69. I lost two ranked games in a row and was demoted. I don't understand how that can even happen. That doesn't give you any room to climb back up from your losing streak. I'm pretty upset right now because I tried very hard to get promoted to begin with. I was on an awesome winning spree of like, 6 games, and then I lose 2 and this happens? Edit: For a little more perspective on why I'm so angry, I won one game today, (4/27) which brought me up to about 15 lp. The next game was a loss, which took me down -17. Then the next game I was demoted. It technically only took ONE game to demote me for going under 0 lp.

Edit: Sorry wasn't helpful. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=LivingDeadGirl69 Your MMR is actually a little low for the league you are currently in, meaning you were below the previous Leagues MMR so demotion comes quicker when you lose - the only exception to this rule is if you were to be demoted from Silver to Bronze the system seems to give you more leeway.

Right now my MMR is higher than the normal so I have the potential to skip a division if / when I hit my Promos I could potentially jump higher than Silver IV.
