Ranked

I recently hit level 30 on this account. I was gold a few seasons ago on another account. Obviously that should/does have no bearing on this account. I did rank flex with a friend of mine and we won 9/10 placement games all with S-s or higher and ridiculous KDAs/farm. He was placed into gold II and I was placed into bronze V.

Now it is my understanding that there is a bug or glitch. Here is my concern: what is going to happen to my MMR? For example, upon entering Bronze, which I've never seen before in my 6 years of play, we had a Reksai who decided to intentionally feed and went 0/29. So we lost that game. Because I just lost a game for an illegitimate reason in bronze that hurts my MMR. These people don't really exist in gold and plat and it is kind of unfair that I should have to tolerate them only because of this bug. Should I just not play ranked at all until this issue is fixed?

Also, if I do keep playing I will likely be gold or plat or within a week or so. If they fix this bug does that mean I'll be Diamond or some other ludicrous placement?

I'm sorry if this question has been addressed elsewhere. I tried the search feature and didn't find what I was looking for.
