Ranked still busted?

So I completed my placement matches. I won 9/10 games with all S ranks or higher. I was placed into bronze 1. On previous accounts I would win 5/10 and place at least into silver II. Can somebody explain to me how nearly perfect placement matches are now bronze? Is it even possible to place higher than bronze now on a new account?

I was gold the last 3 season. I am really confused. My friend who was plat last season placed into silver 4 (his account was not new). It seems like the system is still broken.

To be fair, we'll both end up plat pretty quickly, but this is rather annoying.

First of all, replacement system was broken and placed even challenger, master, diamond players to bronze and silver.

Secondly, when you complete your replacement matches, system places you by MMR's of your opponent's average MMR in your 10 games. So if you play against platinums, diamonds in your placement matches and you win your games, your MMR will be really high and you will be propably platinum. But it is hard to play against higher ranked players now because as I said replacement system was broken and placed players to lower tiers.

If you wait 1 or 2 week, propably there will be enough higher ranked player and system will match you with them to test your MMR. And if you win your games, you will start from higher tiers. That's it.
