Idea to deal with serial griefers

So , I played 2 games today .

First one, we lose because my instead of building properly to match the (non-fed) splitting , thought it was good to build against the AP which he never encountered in his split or 1v1's against .

He won early with my ganks top, jax was useless, but lost mid and late 1v1's because he built like a bonobo even though , the team asked him to build for Jax . If he had done that , even if you lose your 1v1 , you would survive long enough for us to stall and not lose everything everywhere on the map because we have to send 3 for Jax while 4 of the enemy team are bum rushing inhibs .

Second one , we lose because my TOP , decides to go full AP ( full ape ? ) despite being behind , we see his build 8 mins in and** team ask him** to go tanky as we need a frontline to peel for our cait that was doing decently . He didn't answer, didn't help, didn't** try** , I had to adjust my build to try to do his job as a tank and peel for my ADC

Result of the day , I am back in D5 . what is frustrating is that BOTH of those games , we won hard early to mid because of good jungle pathing , good team play , good map awareness , good vision score overall etc . But we ended up losing against an overall worse team , because only thing they had was bad players TRYING their best to win , but what we had was a troll that was just here to have fun .

My point is that, if you're not actively trying to win the game and work with your team, do not play Ranked where most of us are here to do our best all together to get the W

If you can't do that and keep playing selfishly building weird stuff because you saw a video on youtube with the title " OMG RIOT WHAT IS THIS 1000AP CHOGATH ONE SHOT NUCLEAR BUILD OP " ( hi Nb3 ) , then go play norms and have fun trying that stuff, I'll cheer for you . [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Instead of being banned or permabanned from the entire game , my idea was that riot should implement a Ranked ban for these players that collect justified reports for griefing / trolling / soft inting / etc .

That'd also be more forgiving for the people that are just bad compared to their elo , instead of being banned for 2 weeks because they collected intentional feeding ban , they would only get banned from Ranked , and would be able to question themselves and reassess .

I know for a small indie company it might be tricky , but I'm sure a 5 , 10 , 25 , 50 ranked games ban would make these people think twice before trolling or "trying new stuff" in ranked where it's not the place , hence ruin the game for 4 tryhards here for the LP's.

Give me 4 toxic players that try their best to win, over 1 positive guy here for fun and fucking up everything . I can mute the toxicity , I can't mute the trolling .

My idea might be genius or it might be garbage , I don't know but please share your opinion in the comments because I feel that this is a real issue for every elo , and there is nothing more frustrating than demote because of one 4fun player .
