Her winrate was quite low. Now it's even lower. It isn't a good enough reason to nerf a champion simply because players are annoyed that people play a high skill cap champion well. (Well, IMO) Unless I'm wrong obviously and her winrate was already high and people complaining wasn't the real reason for the nerf.
They nerf Zoe because she kept pissing off Lux.
Zoe gets nerfed because she is too easy to play in her current state, she can miss all her shit and still beat almost every champion, so that's what they nerfed and are making her e much stronger, making a zoe who can land her 2 super duper easy skillshots even better than the ones that rely on w and her passive
The community hasn’t been as vocal as they used to be in regards to Zoe... much of which was already just biased to her previous dmg numbers before the nerfs... so sorta like a Syndra situation (where she was constantly needed cuz of community bias, then brought back to a previous iteration then buffed without seeing any complaints) is what I expect to happen with Zoe. With a revert of the most recent nerfs/slightly increase the dmg numbers
Well thats what happens you when release a champion with an unbalanceable kit. Zoe should have never been released in the first place. They should keep her non-viable until she is reworked.
Zoe Main here, am i the only one who thinks performance wise she is still good? I still top dmg in my games, i still contribute to objectives and, i still can carry.
The REAL problem is pretty much unless you are really good at landing her skill shots you will have a bad time which means her accessibility just got taken down by a lot, much similar to Ryze where he is really good in competitively but no soloq because he is a strong team based Champion.
Then of course(and the most important thing), Riot is looking at a redesign of her kit atm so keeping her in this state until they figure out how to move forward with her is perfectly fine.
The only thing really we can hope for is that they find a solution before pre-season hits.
Overall though as far as her current state goes, yes she should have to land her abilities and until they finish her rework she should remain in this state.
Cz unlike Yasuo who never got the chance, Riot found some rooms & opportunities to lower down the nuisance she poses in-lane.

Well, I have a different opinion, as I had a break from the League when she was released and a lot of my friends claim that she was totally broken that time. Now after some nerfs, she is alright, at least in my opinion she is not op in any way and honestly I think I like her only because I missed her release.
