Rengar Gamestate

Rengar as a champion is an awkward spot at the moment, he is a champion who has lost his identity and direction through the rework. Rengar is at the mercy of the buff team if he is buffed he is overwhelming and overpowered but nerfing him turns Rengar into a wonky off-tank. In an attempt to make him more easily balenced riot made a buff dependent champion with no identity. Similar to kog'maw riot had good intentions but only created a champion with narrow margins and options. A revert back to the pre-rework and tuning from there seems to be the best solution.

Yeah man, I use to play rengar religiously.. if I added all the mastery points from my accs I'd prob have around 900k.. [last I checked I was around 850k] I gave him up though... after the rework I played him a little while he was strong. but since it went to pbe I knew his numbers were good and his skills were clunky.. and as soon as his numbers were nerfed, like they are now, he would be considered destroyed by me and many others. and now he sits at 44% win rate... it'll be a while before he becomes a good champ again.. at least for solo q.. right now he's in the same boat as kaliata, air, ryze and to some extent kassadin [tho he's doing better now]

They should have reworked rengar into a fighter...not an assassin, as assassins only kill squishes when rengars motto is "I hunt only the strongest" therefore shouldn't he be focusing on killing tanks instead?

He was fine the whole time. His win rate wasn't that out of control they just nerfed him because people don't like watching him in the lcs because he isn't fun to watch. IF they really wanted to nerf him it shouldn't have been his damaged though, but how damn tanky he is from his W. I have played him a lot and never felt like I was super sayian on him unless my enemies gave me free kills and the 0/4 adc was solo a lot.

Yep, he's been thrown in the "Too OP for organised pro play" bag, where they are kept useless until they think about a rework a year or so later...

Just swallow your pride and revert him Riot...
