Hate on PAC abilities.

Okay my main is GP. He's pretty much the only reason I play this game. I feel like too many people are negative about point any clicks, sometimes for good reasons, but others just because they feel entitled to winning and should always roflstomp people. On that note LoL is a game with 1 team winning and 1 losing. Back on to PAC though. I don't feel it's justified for all champs with PAC to be made into skill shots just for sake off "COUNTER PLAY" when there are already ways to counter play them. This is through itemization, team coordination, or simple positioning. I feel that there needs to be PAC for some champs to allow diversity. You shouldn't always be able to just dodge abilities. Being aware of champs that have PAC is part of being a better LoL player.

nope.

certain point and click abilities with innate counterplay are fine. like the delay on zeds ult for example allowing either peel/disengage before he can get damage on you, or defense steroids to dodge the ult.

the same goes for karthus ult, which locks on automatically, but has a delay and gives you time to react.

but most point and click abilities, especially with range like gangplanks q, annies q or nunu snowballs on very short cooldowns have little counterplay. hence why these abilities (especially parrley) have been nerfed in the past.

the problem is that certain champions are so overloaded with mobility, that these abilities are the only direct counter to these champions.

i still think its more healthy for the game to make the mobility of these champions more conditional (looking at you kallista), and phasing out on target abilities like parrley over time.

Honestly, I hope they get rid of point and click abilities. The reality is that there is just so much less "skill" or strategy involved in using them. I'm not saying this because I can't win point and click matchups (because I can; I'm one of those point and click champion mains Lissandra ). I'm saying it because it's the truth.

I don't think GP's Q is that toxic, the ability is basically a ranged auto attack on a CD. I've seem most adc's AA crit for just as much by late game, and they don't have a CD on it. Turning GP's Q into a skill shot ruins his farming and his lane presence. His Q is also shorter than most adc's aa range and other mages skillshots, which makes him vulnerable. I feel his Q is in a good spot. The whole crit debate is an other matter.

Hoh boy, as a Gangplank main, you should be able to know why Gangplank's Q is toxic, and why it's getting removed, or at least revamped. Gangplank's Q didn't have counterplay to it. It was 100% luck based on whether you'd win lane from a lucky crit. It encourages this "feast and famine" playstyle that Riot's very much against. Crit fishing is fine when you have some sort of itemization towards it, but you shouldn't be able to just run crit runes, get that 1/100 chance to crit someone, and then win lane because of that. It takes all of the skill and interaction out of the game.
