Poppy's and Veigar's quality of life improvement (small skill tweak)

Hello guys, I was thinking a couple of days ago on ways of improving poppy's current gameplay problems (the lane phase) and the current veigar changes to keep up with riot's gameplay philosophy. I don't main poppy but I have a friend that loves playing her and I've heard his complains for a while. Veigar is also one of the champions I first tried when I started playing League of Legends .

For Poppy I was thinking on changing her paragon of Demacia (W) active into the following:

A dash-like skill where poppy runs into a target direction(full distance), pushing characters to the side. After the run poppy gets full stacks of Paragon of Demacia. It deals no damage. Can't pass walls.

I think this change can improve poppy's laning phase with an easier way for her to position for her combo and a way to escape from ganks. It also gives room for her target in teamfight to push her away and kite her if the skill is missplayed or she was CC by her target.

For veigar's Event Horizon (E) I was thinking on the following:

When casting Event Horizon(will call it cage), increase the radius, 50 units or a distance a little smaller than the average champion can walk in .5 seconds. The cage will work as an impassable wall for enemy units (think of azir's ult). After .75 seconds the cage will shrink to its actual size(same size as in live). Champions hitted while the cage shrinks will be stunned and pushed to the center of the cage and stunned according to the skill's level(less time than in live). Visual marks will be required to show the area the cage will move before that happens so enemy champions can react and move away from that area. The cage will last 3 seconds. Touching the walls after the shrinking occurs won't stun enemies but still won't let them walk through it.

I think this change will make the cage fun to use for veigar players and leave room for counterplay for enemy players. The area inside the cage is still very big, after the shrinking if the enemy player avoided the stun, dodging veigar's Dark Matter is possible and less risky without the walls insta stun. It's also more rewarding for the veigar player to catch several enemy champions correctly with the skill since they will be pushed to the center and can hit everyone with a Dark Matter. I also like the filling of this being a real cage and as the skill's description says, "Veigar twists the edged of space around target area"

TLDR: Poppy's W is a run/dash skill and Veigar's E is a real cage the pushes and stuns enemies to the middle.

Tell me what you guys think.

Thank you for your time.

Event Horizon is a "Point of no return" around the ring of a black hole. Meaning as soon as you hit the ring the black hole sucks you in. Anyone else feel like this is how it should be reworked? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event_horizon

i like veigar idea quite a bit actually, but the poppy one is lame.

I like a veigar stun that pulls champions to the center. But the delay is the problem. He has no line of defense and also no offense. With the delay, the champions that can jump will jump before the delay finishes. The counterplay is to just walk out. And Riot has been clear that they want the delay to exist.

As a Poppy main, I'm not sure how that idea would work out but it sure sounds interesting! "Sudden mobility" as opposed to her current "gradual mobility" (walking faster) would definitely change how Poppy plays in a fight, probably making her stronger but also adding more risk (she can easily get in bigger trouble, but can take enemies by surprise more readily). If anything, I suspect giving her that much strength in positioning would add a great deal of power to her by improving her ability to land wall stuns. I wouldn't like to see Riot decide the rest of her kit needed to be nerfed to compensate for it.

I don't know if the idea is good, but it certainly isn't obviously bad in my opinion. Good job coming up with it!
