Major rune for Veigar
What do you think is a good major tune on Veigar? I'm thinking Aerie, but I want other people's thoughts on it.

I tried running Dark Harvest, but after playing with that it feels more useful on champions that want to auto more and build lichbane, like lux, or zoe even.
I've been running electrocute to get more with the burst damage. With Aerie, you don't have a way to activate the shield half of Aerie. I've only tried a couple things so far and there's more I would want to try myself.
As for secondary, I've had ultimate hat, and gathering storm. Although if you feel like you're having more mana issues you could go for mana-flow band.
aerie will give you more damage over the course of the laning phase if you're poking often enough to build stacks, which is fine.

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/preseason-update/8300-8326?build=40210226 (interchange spellbook with slow depending on how many gap closers the enemy team has or how prone you are, but ultimately go with spellbook for reduced flash CD which veigar NEEDS). scorch can be replaced with 10% cdr or MS again, but i would take scorch for the added poke damage in the early game so you're not so far behind on trades as you no longer have aerie.
After coming to a conclusion, I feel as if Arcane Comet is the best for sorcery. Sorcery path is really good for the debt, AP, and ultimate reduction. I looked at the scalings for Aery and Arcanely comet and Arcane has a better scaling.
Hey, i am a papa veigo main, only bronze but i still believe i know him quite good. I normally run Arcane, manaflow ( for me it is better sustain in lane, and with 40% cdr, my ult is on 60 sec) transcendence, gathering storm. second tree i run conditioning with font of life (only if my team have alot of ad damage) or overgrowth and it works quite well with me. Font of life helps quite alot when i roam bot pre level 6 and hit a stun, my adc gains alot of help from my font of life. but yes i am only a little bronze veigo, so dont take my advice to seriously
