This is my first time playing league and I would like to know how many games I have to play a week in order for my account not decay. in addition how do you get points in ranked? and if I get into gold will my account decay past gold into silver? please tell me. :)
at least one game a week, and you gain league point by winning ranked games, you lose league point by losing ranked game. Decay can take you from gold to silver, yes
You won't decay unless you get plat or above, so I wouldn't worry about it.
That being said, if you just hit 30 for the first time, I'd recommend you go play some draft games (on the order of 100-200 wins) before you pop in to ranked, or you're kinda setting yourself up for failure.
