Why climbing can be hard and is it worth reporting elo boosters?

Lets say you are just trying to climb out of bronze or silver for the first time. It can be pretty tough because there is the occasional 16-0 Fiora.

You are not a smurf or elo booster so thats bad because the enemy team has 5 chances to draw a booster. Your team, because they have you, only has 4 chances. So thats a small percentage of games that yer going to lose just because you aren't smurfing or boosting.

More than once I've had somebody friend me and say "hey, I was the guy that carried last game. I'm a booster. I thought you might be interested. www, com" Is it worth screenshoting and reporting? I've never wasted my time but I sure would like to see an end to professional smurfing. Regular smurfs can be baited. Professionals.. not so much.

Those people that friend request you to give that message often didn't even play a game with you, they just send it out to as many people as they can. Screenshot it and submit a Support Ticket under the category I have a question > Game & Features > General Questions.

A booster wouldnt message you, they aren't even on their own account.

Nothing wrong with smurfing, what is even a "professional smurf" lol Bait a regular smurf? into what? lol A smurf isn't a booster. A smurf is just a guy who made a 2nd account.

When I climbed out of bronze/silver, I didn't even know boosting/smurfing was a thing. You'll convince yourself that every other guy is a booster/smurf, when they aren't. You will rarely run into either.

Once you get to like diamond though, that is where you'll run into it alot more often. Even then, not too often.
