she is really tanky and has some really good sticky cc... why on earth does she have to deal so much absurd damage ?

Seju deals damage?

Which season are we in? What year is it?

I have never, not even once, seen a Seju with any particular damage done since her rework, in fact nearly all of them that i see have the lowest except the support.

No idea how much you or your team fed one for her to deal enough damage to be noticeable.

Because the balance team tries to make everything 'new' relative to everything that's overpowered, rather than balancing the game properly.

i would honestly prefer the old sejuani over the current one (although maybe give her a less trash early game clear in exchange for a little of her late game damage)

I don't get how tanks can insta smash adcs, and I don't get how some adcs can kill tanks in 4 seconds.

Sejuani does damage? but the boards told me she is just a cc bot support.

Because adcs does a ton as well.

Because she's on a boar (cue T-pain).

Honestly, Sej's damage isn't the problem. Sej always was a high damage tank, before her rework this is what I'd have pinned as her identity and it still should be IMO.

The problem is that the entire Sej rework was trying to force a round peg into a square hole. Riot tried to make Sej more like every other tank and in doing so they lost the unique elements about her.

Sej doesn't need to lose damage, what she needs to lose is some of her CC. Sej shouldn't be about chainlocking one guy into oblivion, there's plenty of tanks who do that already. She should be shifted back in the direction of AoE disruption and AoE damage rather than her current cancer incarnation.

As a sejuani player both before and after the rework, I have to agree with most people that she does not do a lot of damage. Despite old sejuani having an ability meant to do consistent reliable AOE damage, she still was first or second to last on the least damage dealt charts. New sejuani is different however, if your like me and choose to buy an iceborn gauntlet after cinder hulk, you should be reliably able to take down squishy mid laners and ADCS. Her damage by no means one shots you, she's just able to keep you locked up in one place long enough to get about a rotation and a half of her spells off on you. If you have flash or any type of mobility, you can generally escape her though. Her damage does fall off mid- late game, since the squishes get safety net items.

Sejuani deals a deceptive amount of damage. But it's not a lot overall. My build goes Cinderhulk>Warmog's. The way my runes and masteries are set up, I have the health to access the Warmog's heart bonus with just those two items. Since her W scales off of health, she gets decent amounts of damage off of those two basically pure health items. By my third item, that damage, even the percent health from her E and R pops, has fallen off.
