Magic Resist Per Level For Certain Champions? :|

Hey, first I would like to say that if the sources I relied on for this thread have a chance of being outdated or changed recently, I would like to apologize in advance if the present information is false o.o

Anyways, while noticing this week's free champ rotation (Played Fidd and Graves already, gotta love them! ^.^) I clicked on one of their icons and noticed some champs get magic resist per level while other champions do not. Thresh, Ahri, Jayce, and many others do not get magic resist per level and remain at 30 the whole game unless they get it from runes, items, etc.

However, some champs such as Blitzcrank, Darius, Nasus, and Zed get magic resist per level (I believe 1.25 per level)

So what's up with that? Do some champs need it more than others? Or is there some other reason why some champs get MR per level while others do not?

They're full-time melee champs. Off the top of my head, the only full time melee who doesn't scale MR is Singed, and maybe Shen unless they changed him recently. Don't ask me why they're excluded
