Is Sona's heal supposed to feel worse than fighting Soraka?

I'm not sure what current champion design / philosophy is but this game is getting less and lee enjoyable as time goes on for me.

When a Sona spams W with 45 CDR windseekers, ardent sensor and pretty much does a better job at healing than Soraka whilst doing decent damage and packing in a pretty game winning ult all while not losing any mana seems pretty anti fun to play against.

Please remember though, Sona can't spam her W until she has several mana and mana regen items (i.e. mid/late game). Until then, Sona can't keep healing as long as Soraka can during the laning phase as Sona doesn't have the mana to keep it up for any length of time.

Although, I do have to agree that Sona does a lot of damage, but that is nothing new.

One last point. If you, and your team are clustered tightly enough for Sona's ult to be truly effective, then you would have been vulnerable to something like an Amumu ult anyway.

Also, her ult's new passive effects the BASE cool downs, meaning, that maxing item cdr equals 40% from the passive, and getting 45% from the items and mastery gets her cool downs to almost urf levels.
