Am I seriously the only one who hates these Vlad changes?

Again, his kit is just terrible for the role he's going to be playing. He has to wait for a blue moon in order to be useful. His attacks take for too much time to go thought that he just can't fulfill his role of battlemage. While his passive gives him power late game these changes have strictly made Vlad only good early and able OT live late.

Just keep Vlad the way he is, give him some sort of indicator from his E and increases it's ability to heal him at the cost of more of his health. I'm not saying let it stack infintly but turning it into blockable AOE which on it's own sounds crazy because there isn't a point in it being AOE.

His heal and damage just seem too far off and frankly he isn't even fun anymore, he just exists.

I feel like Riot again missed their mark like they did with Morde because they don't understand the champion nor their players.

His Q now has interactivity in that there are better and worse times to use it, and opponents can try to decide when to fight you, or you take advantage of them by fighting right when the haste is about to activate.

The telegraphing and blockage on his E add counterplay, but the ability is overall stronger.

His new ult gives better feedback by healing for each enemy hit, better encouraging players to catch more foes in the aoe. It also gives you incentive to stay in a fight until the heal pops as it may give you just enough of a boost to win.

His W is, and always has been a perfectly beautiful ability and I'm glad they didn't touch it.

Overall valdimir is more viable due to a better early game, and while his late game might not be as godly before, who the heck would complain about a merely decent late game once you are actually give the ability to get there? Before you just hoped you could stall until you actually got strong and beat people with your stats and Rylai's slow. The new ratios on his passive even give the option to build more towards ap or hp depending on what your team needs. Veteran players don't have to COMPLETELY relearn their champion like Shen players did.

New vlad gives more interesting choices to both the player and the opponent while maintaining his core theme and major mechanics. Once they tweak his numbers for balance, I consider this a resounding success.

No he doesn't give more interesting choices, he gives the same ones just worse. I understand giving the enemy a chance to fight back against him that's not my problem my problem is that he's designed to jump into enemy teams and absorb all the damage while healing but they not only took away most of his AOE damage because it can be blocked and made it so that his only constant source of heals makes him wait.

A champion designed to jump into a fight shouldn't have to wait for cooldowns and their abilities to feel like hurting.

Along with that a late game champion should be fearful of the early game, that's the point. Nasus is going to be 1v1ing anyone before 15 minutes. The fact that he can only survive late game is a problem when he's meant to rule it.

He still out stats you to death whenever he does manage to kill you but it's only because of that. not because he used his abilities correctly just because stats.

I have yet to see a single Vlad do well on the PBE since the changes late game. At first I was just assuming the people playing him were just trying him out for the first time and didn't get very far with him because of that but then when I started playing him he not only felt extremely terrible to play but did nothing for the team.

Like the post about Viktor said, A champion shouldn't feel MORE clunky after their reworks."
