u dont have any ranked game u just play normals what u mean from season 1 till now it was always like this in normal games Rank doesnt matter and thats how it is . and the reason is because u dont earn anything from winning or u dont lose anything of losing in normal games. and thats where people play when they want to have pure fun and thats where people play when they are high or drunk and thats where people can play with their friends even with big huge Rank diffrence (thats the only place right?) and thats where people practice champions for the first time. so because all of these reasons even if riot consider ranks in normal games they cant get balanced because u dont win and u dont lose anything of it

Normal and ranked have separate MMRs. So if players who have high ranks don't play many normal games, they'll have low normal MMRs. Meanwhile, I, for example, have a very high normal MMR but am unranked. So if I were to go into ranked, I would be with low ranked players despite having a high normal MMR. But as long as I stay in normal I get paired with others who have high normal MMRs.
