Deserved 14 Day BAN , no complains but..

Recently i got 14 day ban trigger in one game i got tilted because enemy jungler was messing arround all the time with me and even i try to stay positive and win the game . we got stomped and every one start flaming me, enemy jungler counter jungle with instant precision. like i could see all fog of war cleared. fishy moves like hell. to seems scripting,so i lost patience i y call in team chat one forbidden word ( i admit i use it as coloquial not homphobic meaning) but the bot insta triggered so i got banned. ok no complains. here is the text i deserve it

yes i know it was bad but everyone got a limit and I tilted. the thing is the chat is over for me no more chat EVER. this is just SILENT /mute all and never EVER wrote a word in chat. EVER AGAIN.

what do you guys thinks the automated ban bots are little too harsh? isnt better to had a tribunal like years ago?

what do you guys think i want your opinion.

btw i was high honored before this game ... lost all sad :(

You say no complaint but then you basicly complain about the system beeing to harsh. No the system isnt too harsh, especially not in this case. Homophobic terms are 0 tolerance no goes.

"Old times tribunal" would have punished you too.

I think the important takeaway here is that it's not okay to weaponize slurs against people. I'm sure if you stop for a moment you'll realize it would suck for something about yourself to be turned into an insult.

Yep, that's how it works with hate-speech, slurs, etc.

Not in this case, no. There's legit no good/justified reason to use that kinda stuff in chat.

after a 14-day ban anything triggering punishment (even "only" chat restriction worthy) will trigger a permaban. Be careful out there bro.

As an aside, a single report triggers the game for review. There is no need to ask for reports. Your report alone is good enough. In addition, try to add some stuff in the comment box for context so that Riot can know what to look for when checking.

isnt better to had a tribunal like years ago?

The tribunal legit took months to get through cases. By the time someone got punished they had played/ruined hundreds of games or they had reformed and then get punished without remembering what they did since it was so long ago.

I agree, the bot is far too harsh.

My buddy and I have played the game since it's release day. Like, we went to Target and bought the actual CD.

So we've been around. I very often get tilted and say stupid stuff, and he is very much the opposite. I've received multiple chat bans and one 1 day suspension since release. I've improved my behavior, have learned to just stay positive and be nice since then, but he has never gotten a single strike on his account, and is always the one telling me "Come on man, just ignore the chat"

2 days ago he said "ty" in 1 line, and "k - y - s -" in the next. Just so happened to be one of those days where being trolled by his team got to him - and also being told to do the same, got to him, and he typed one three letter word. He received an instant 14 day ban, with a threat of permanent ban if he ever says something someone doesn't like ever again.

That is a bad system. He's been a customer for years, and has never been in trouble, and suddenly, his account is measured to be more toxic than mine.

It's not a good system, it's a company that won't pay for proper customer support staff. Get your facts straight.

no excuses, you said what you said, and as you mentioned yourself, you deserve it. good if you want to reform and /mute all if you have to to avoid permaban. old tribunal is not feasible any more with today's amount of players..

Why would the old tribunal be any different. The word is inappropriate, I don’t care about your cultural context. I’m glad you see you’re wrong doing and say you deserve the ban but don’t say that then turn around and say things are too harsh.

Own it, move on, change yourself.

The old tribunal would not have pardoned your behavior.

Also, understand that the IFS started it's data off with tribunal cases. To date, it learns from the community's million's of reports daily and is constantly readjusting itself on what is considered punishable or not.

So even though you are punished by the IFS, you still are judged by the community.

I honestly believe the automated triggered words bot is a bit harsh because many people are using these words in their daily games. like "K - Y -S", has become something as simple "stupid."

There are lots of kids nowadays and even adults that really think saying these to people is normal and part of that because some streamers use it on their stream all the time. I am not trying to attack you personally here because we all have our heated moment. I just think this type of escalated punishment level is needed to deter people from saying these words as like they mean nothing. There are people on the other end that are trying to have fun and just play a game after a harsh day of work/school. Unfortunately, most people don't realize that.

I recently switched to OverWatch and God Bless League of Legends. The level of toxicity between the two is not even comparable.
