PSA: To all laners that would like to give their junglers a better leash for free.
Nowadays, junglers have 3 ways they can start their game
-Blue buff -Red buff -Raptors
-Raptors: farming this camp lv1 gives your jungler instant lv2 after clearing the small ones, and gives half a level more at the end of the clear, this start is suitable for many AOE junglers that desire either to reach lv3-4 faster to pressure early, or junglers that want to full clear in order to reach lv6 before the enemy jungler, olaf is a particular jungle since he can do all 3 according to what's the plan, he doesn't really have a major benefit from doing one or another, but most of you won't play him at this level so i won't bother with him.
- Leashing raptors: Usually it's the mid laner that does it, throwing a couple of autos in the meantime, just be sure to reach lane for when the minions meet or you'll lose your lv2 and you'll start squealing and spamming pings to your jungler because you want him to perform a miracle even if your lane is ungankable and/or you're a late game afk farm champion with no cc/zero kill pressure in lane. Top lane can join in too, the more the better! Just pay attention to use your spells max range so that you can immediately walk to lane to not lose that single minion for the same reason listed above.
So, if your jungler has the means to start raptors it doesn't mean he's trolling so you can avoid running it down mid/refuse to leash to show him who's the bigger boy.

Blue/Red: same shit as usual.

Leashing when the jungler starts bot lane: League of legends is a game filled with stuff for nerds such as numbers, not wasting and maximizing numbers is usually the key to win, unless you want to lock in that teemo top/rakan mid just because you feel hipster that day. But how can we make our numbers as optimal as possible? Masteries and regen! Usually supports have a lot of regen masteries that would go wasted if the support had to sit idle for the vast majority of the game, you don't do that right? ;)
-
So, if you're a RANGED support, you're usually squishier than usual so you don't have many hp to put on the table, then what you
mustshould do is to tank ONE hit from the buff monster because by the time you walked to lane you already healed it fully, so you can start autoing the wave and the enemy down to apply pressure. You do that right? :) -
If you're a MELEE support, you usually are tankier than usual, and you probably have relic shield too, so, what can we do in order to not let those hp go wasted when you'll go for executing those minions to help your adc push for the lv2? You tank 2 autos from the enemy buff.
-
If you are the AD CARRY, you tank only one hit, because you're pretty squishy but since you have either doran's blade or shield you will heal that 70~ damage in a couple of autoattacks by the time you reached lane.
It might seem nothing special, but in jungle every single point of mana and hp counts, and if your jungle is not a clueless burden like many junglers i've seen so far, it will help them greatly!
support with smite and take q level one to give my jungler a huge lead and proceed to feed lane but its worth it cause my junglers gonna carry me.
[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
might be the biggest benefactor of this.
However, with plants, you can likely get a good enough leash to have it started while jungler clears small raptors with a small leash from mid. It's likely possible you can still get into lane without missing experience, while still providing a decent leash. I've yet to do this leash at all myself, so it's all speculation and theorycrafting at the moment for me.
No. I don't.
I already give you 20% of my max health. Unless you get invaded, that's all the blood I'll give. ;p
