@Riot, about champion updates.

It's not much of my two cents, but I think a goal of yours for champion updates should be to make us "Not miss the original champion".

I just thought of it as a good design philosophy. Thinking of the past, I can say that I don't miss the old Fiora, and neither do plenty of others. Some people, myself included, miss the old Skarner, even if it was a more simple design. These are just examples.

This kinda holds water, because from what I've seen, Riot wants to touch on Skarner again in the future, so it's clear that they miss the old Skarner more than they like the new one.

Any thoughts on this philosophy? Any Rioters actually use this already?

To clarify, I mean that I want to be able to say,

"This is different and strange, but I sure don't miss how it used to be."

Or that Riot should be confident enough to say,

"They won't even miss the old champion."

It's a nice idea, but unrealistic. The community doesn't have a single unified opinion on every champion, and some people just hate change.

Well, speaking majority wise. I mean, if they have the ability to make you forget about the old design by replacing it with something fantastic, then I say they've done a good job.

Also, I'd say that a lot of people tend to have a good, similar (maybe not exact) concept of most champions. Just a thought though.
