Pretty much all my games now are 20-25 minute surrenders where one lane gets massively fed and stomps the game. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences. It has just started after the ranked season ending and maybe it is people not trying or playing their mains but I just wanted to know if anyone else was having really one sided stomps. It has taken a lot of the fun out of the game.
i feel that after 20 mins, its usuallly one teams game to lose.
if it is going 40 mins, you have a very evenly matched game of people playing poorly.
I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary; most of my games last around 30+ minutes, some shorter, some longer. My games today were pretty one sided, but for unlucky reasons; First one we lost since our mid laner rage quit and I was having connection issues (every time my family used the microwave, I disconnected, lol). Second one we had a smurf on our team who carried us. Third, their jungler didn't connect for the first ten minutes, so we won. Weird how all these happened on the same day for me; it's been pretty rare for me lately to have a dc/afk or an actually good smurf in my games.
There's the potential for some pretty stompy games on this patch, but I echo what others say about the length. I've just had several long ones. If someone doesn't lose lane super super hard and feed out of their mind, the games go pretty long sometimes.
i really enjoy shorter games alot more. really ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT more. its SO MUCH BETTER that i really started to feel JOY playing the game and not being fucking trapped in a losing game for 20 more minutes or forced to painfully edge my way to victory because it just takes 40 minutes to end it from gamedesign alone even if its allready clear im winning.

Actually, my last few matches have all been in the 35+ range, except for one 31 minute snowball and a 27 minute enemy surrender where they still had all of their inner towers up.
Games aren't short, they're engaging and intense and last almost the perfect amount of time.
Well, I have had multiple 50 minute comebacks :). Maybe its because I play champs with late game powerspikes like janna and malph.
