Please consider the following things about the new Honor System

  1. The weight of premades honoring each other should be a lot smaller than honors from random players. This is a current problem with the honor system already and it looks like it will be transferred to the new one. People will honor the people they grouped up with, and this will skew the honor system.

  2. Don't lock out key fragments under an honor reward wall. Key fragments gave people who played a lot of games a nifty reward to open up their chests. It relates to the first point in that people who play League solo will have a much harder time to get their fragments and will still end up having a bunch of chests that they can't open.

  3. Honor levels should not be percentage based like they still are right now. Basically the current honor system punishes players who play a lot of games because the more games you play, the smaller percent of your games are honorable, making the honor ribbons nearly impossible to obtain for extremely active players. You can have thousands of honors but it won't matter because you played a ton of games.

I love the idea of the new system, I just feel like it still has the same issues the current one has in which it favors premade groups and people who don't play too much league.

Do you know what could make it work? Have only champions that played well enough to EARN a spot up there get up there. You know how Overwatch honors 3-4 specific people after the game ends by showing how they had the most healing in the game, most kills, or they show an unusually high amount of instances of using a Hero's unique traits (Like D. Va, example 15 mechs called)

Reward players through achievement, not opinion.

  • First off, how would you even determine this?
  • Second of all, that skews honor into a single denomination. there is more to whether someone is deemed honor worthy than whether they have a high KDA.
