Life through the Eyes of a Solo Que only Player

This will not be a "bring back solo que" circle jerk thread. If you were to look me up, you'd see I only solo que, and have a ridiculous amount of games this season. I have finally achieved my goal last night and that was to get plat. In all honesty it comes down to not going vs 3-5 man premades that will hold you back. It's when teammates say gg ff 20 or some other tilting phrase. In all honesty games are thrown so often that if people would farm and scale, they could easily win, instead of just tilting everyone. I think the real problem this season isn't the addition of dynamic que, but the lack of effort on the players part. People are giving up so easy this season and do not want to attempt to scale and fight late game. I'm not the best player but I finally got Plat. If you guys want me to actually write up a guide on how to climb this season just leme know*[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]*

First off gratz on getting to plat

The reason players dont care and give up easy is a total loss of ranked integrity

the rank simply doesn't really mean much anymore so people rather ff and start a new game then put in any effort, imho normals and rotating modes right now are more competetive then ranked in my experience which is kind of weird because that should never happen in a competetive game.

It's all courtesy of dynamic queue

Really hope Riot will at least throw us solo players a bone. They can keep their filthy worhtless good boy stickers

THANK YOU.

I play a lot of solo queue. I play a lot of 5 mans. I play a lot of 3/4 mans. I completely agree that its the attitude of may as well give up since we're 5/1 at 6 minutes. If you'd just try things would be so different. Especially at lower elos, you never know when they'll throw harder than an mma fighter.

why waste 45 minutes on a game that has a slight chance of winning late, when i can just ff 20

I totally agree with you. People who simply give up at the first sight of difficulty in a game are the #1 issue, but I feel some of that can be attributed to Dynamic queue.

When people try to play solo and climb on their own, seeing group after group can get really demoralizing. So much, that they just feel like any time they have trouble in a game, it's due to a pre-made.

Eventually, that feeling gets amplified and becomes the generally toxic attitude we see now.

Again, i'm not disagreeing with you, just throwing some justification to my low elo compadres. Also, grats on the Plat!

It was always like that man. I got diamond last season and let me tell you, going through platinum was a fucking torture. You had nice and normal balanced games, but you also had games where you knew you lost in the first 3 mins. Sadly, I don't play ranked this season because of garbage q, but I can also make the argument that people get tilted so easily because they just don't like getting 4 man ganked on bot and they know it will keep on going the whole game, while your whole team is solo. I do play 1 game a month not to decay, because I did placements for the hell of it and that was exactly my experience. Playing support or top and getting constantly camped by premades isn't fun at all and especially when you know you won't get any help. That's why I just play normals this season and ranked means nothing to me, other than I won't have a nice diamond border next season, assuming I'd still play the game then.

People are giving up because they care less about their rank, because of DQ.

I hate premades, especially when they are in my team. Being a solo player in a team with premades is basically handicapping yourself.
