Azir?

Lets face it, the Q nerf to Azir was alright in some ways, but the E nerf (removal of knock-up) was unnecessary. In a meta dominated by juggernauts and assassins, Azir is quite vulnerable now (same with other champs but thats for another post). The knock-up was more of a quality of life, hell, why not lower the actual time knocked up? Or extend the cd on E slightly (for the butthurt Katarina ). Having to rely on just an ult as a form of CC/disengage is silly (yes I realize you can just W+Q+E away item 3070) .As playing quite alot of Azir, I've noticed E is hardly useful with the shield (bonus health? Really?) and the fact if you E into an enemy champion, you get stuck like a Azir in a windshield with a minuscule shield. I'm not saying he does not fulfill his role as a back line, DPS mage, I'm simply stating that the E knock up removal was not necessary. If any rioter could respond to this it would be much appreciated, or fellow leaguesmen give me your ideas. Thanks for your time.

Azir is NOT vulnerable.

He has huge range, huge poke, a slow, and decent mobility. He even has an ult to stop divers like those assassins and juggernauts. What MORE DO YOU WANT? Not only is Azir still a lane bully to most champion, he scales incredibly well.

He needs more nerfs and if you don't believe me, just wait. His issue was never the knock up, or that Q nerf. His problem was always the fact that he can W (Arise) from max range and then Q into a champion from a HUGE distance and still get off an AA. His oppressive and that's why he will still be played in pro scene.

Also, like you said, you use E to slam into a champion and while that might sound bad, it's a good disengage and engage tool. It works for multiple scenarios.

Basically, what I'm saying is, a champion who is bot a bully in lane, is a hyper carry late game, doesn't need so much mobility and CC. He has one that is very potent, that's more than enough.

He needed the nerf. Maybe you aren't/weren't abusing him the way he could be used, but other players were. He had almost NO counterplay while dealing a lot of damage through all stages of the game. Any champions before that actually had a chance to dive into him would get knocked up, thrown away with his R, and then either killed or he'd make his escape. Without the knock up now he has an actual window where he can be attacked from instead of turning your advantageous positioning into him killing you.
