Can we get some tank items with movement speed?

I'm not talking about boots just other items giving movement speed. It's pretty much only offensive items that give MS: trinity force, PD, Shiv, Zephyr, lichbane, etc. Talisman gives no tank stats, the closest things are Phage which doesn't even build into a defensive option anymore and Righteous Glory which is just an active.

Why do champs that build damage get to itemize MS while still getting damage, most ADCs have escapes and supports peeling for them do they really need better MS options as well. Almost every ADC played now has self peel, would it be so bad if sunfire cape had some MS on it. Force of Nature could be brought back too.

Oh man, tank items with movement speed? Will Singed Rammus Garen ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO CATCH SOMEONE? Nah, rito wont do this because increase movement speed isnt summoner 4y enough.

rip item 3143 . MS slow removed cuz tanks are meant to be poked against(item 3035 item 3153 ) and not be able to do anything about it, but take it like a boss. and heal it all off.. somehow.

I think a reason we may not have any tanky MS items is because ideally, tanks and bruisers are so tanky that they don't need the movement speed because they won't die while getting to their target, but the current strength of Last Whisper and Void Staff means that tanks and bruisers will die almost as fast as their pure damage counterparts if they don't have some kind of obscene form of damage reduction like Sion's infinite health stacking or the % damage reduction from the likes of Maokai or Alistar (and when I say obscene, I mean that they survive as long as a tank should in a teamfight, not that the damage reduction itself is inappropriately strong).

In addition, I feel like Righteous Glory is more than appropriate for tanky movement speed, because all of the situations that you want movement speed are either situations where you want to roam or you want to engage. Righteous Glory perfectly fills the latter role while you can easily fit Mobility Boots or Boots of Swiftness into your build as a tank without dramatically affecting how much damage you can tank if you want to roam a bit.

Don't forget we also have the Point Runner passive on Raptor Cloak and its upgrades, which gives a situational movement speed boost. Not what we are looking for in a tanky MS item, but still worth pointing out.

That said, I personally would LOVE a tanky movement speed item. I'm just not sure how appropriate it would be for the game though.

+50 armor +50 magic resistance +5% movement speed

Passive: Nearby enemy casts generate a stack of X. (Stacks up to 20 times) Active: Consumes all stacks of X to restore 15 health and 10 mana per stack.

Alright, so I absolutely love playing tanks, and it's probably my strongest power fantasy in the game is to just be an un-killable force of zoning and peel for my carries. It's just so damn satisfying and one of the things that can really ruin that experience is getting kited and ignored because you can't keep up with the action. Nothing like having my ad carry dash or blink over a wall, and an assassin follow him, and I have no way to follow up the action and keep my boys safe.

But, am I the only one terrified of the consequences of move speed on a defensive item? We all know a champ like irelia will end up abusing this item comboed with tri-force, and then it'll get nerfed into irrelevance for tanks, or worse yet, tanks will somehow get nerfed with a convoluted context in the patch notes from rito.

They would have to be really careful with an item like this. Possibly removing tri-force's MS boost and making it a unique passive that's shared with this item, I dunno, but I just really feel like this item is just screaming to get abused.

I mean, hell, that's probably part of why things like force of nature (peace be upon it, and may god go with it) has been ripped away from us so callously.

tl;dr 11/10 do want this item, but also 11/10 concerned that this would turn into an abuse case and tanks would somehow get nerfed as compensation.

Force of Nature was deemed OP for the very fact that it was a defensive movespeed item.

While I personally feel that is pretty dumb reason... I'm not Morello.

Imo we need some REALLY strong item for melee AP tanks. Nemezis mode proves, that those are in terrible spot right now.
