To all those "discussing" Kastilla's objective control...

I am leaving the math here showing how long it takes a Kastilla can exceed Smite's damage late game. Assuming Kastilla has 300 AD Kastilla (109 base at max level+80 [BT] +80 [IE] +40 [LW]) Rend will deal an initial 260 damage for the first stack (60[base] + 200[60%ad]) and 132 (32[base] + 100[30%ad]) with every stack after. Assuming she has a last Whisperer Baron's armor will be reduced from 120 to around 80, meaning it will have 45.5% reduced damage, causing the Rend damage to become 142 (rounded) initial and 72 (also rounded). This means that she will need 12 autos to exceed the 1000 damage cap of smite (1000 [smite] minus 142 [first auto] divided by 72 [following autos] =11.9 ). Also assuming that Kastilla has hurricane and Bork she will have around 2 autos per second, meaning that it will take a lategame Kastilla a total of 6 seconds to exceed Smite's damage cap (12 divided by 2). Note that by this time her autos (not factoring crits or Bork's passive) will have already done 1962 damage (300 damage per auto times 12 autos then reduced by 45.5% from armor).

For those wondering I took the values used her from Kastilla's and Baron's wiki page at LOLWIKI and have linked the armor/MR damage reduction list below.

NOTE: I am not taking sides in the debate, I just want to give the math and facts for her rend damage so that people have something solid to base their "discussions" on, make of it what you will.

Damage reduction chart.

I understand the reasoning behind this but I think the issue is that there is no clear indicators of how much damage her rend can do when an enemy team goes to contest an objective.

With champs like Cho you have a rough estimate of his output. With nunu you basicly know the numbers. Kalista is a different story, no one plans to be doing trigometry in mere seconds at a contest of an objective(not really trig but just an idea of how hard it is). It's just not fair for the enemy.

you only took account for 2 attack speed items kallista also builds shiv and a good kalista will time the rend with an auto attack for unexpected burst to catch the jungler off gaurd so he can't smite it meaning you need to take the rend damage and add the damage of an auto attack to it for an accurate representation of a kallista baron steal
