Trash Ranked System
we've all seen many diamond or higher elo streamers get placed in iron 4 for placements, so that's how we already know that ranked system is trash. But what I also find stupid, is how badly mmr works. How it currently works is : If you have mmr thats average for the rank you're in, you lose twice as much as you gain, WHICH IS ABSURD. What riot is saying is "you can't climb" to those players with less than 60% winrate. And then there's also the fact that you don't get extra lp for doing really good and hard carrying. let's say I have an idiotic adc who has like 0.5 kda average (meaning they're useless), but 80% winrate cause they get carried too much. But then I have 6 kda average (cause i always win lane and roam) with 52% winrate. So I have average mmr , and they have above average mmr. The game ends and we win, I hard carry and get S+ but only gain 12 lp, while the adc gets a D+ and gains 25 lp. Players should get rewarded for getting S-, S, or S+ in ranked games. And maybe also add a slight boost to lp for honor levels; I was thinking : Honor Level 2, 1, 0 --> Nothing Honor level 3 --> 1 extra lp gained on win, 1 less lp lost on defeat Honor level 4 --> 2 extra lp gained on win, 2 less lp lost on defeat Honor level 5 --> 3 extra lp gained on win, 3 less lp lost on defeat That way its not insanely op, but those who wanna get a higher rank asap might try to stay a bit less toxic.
