Getting The Best Balance Team In History.

Aight so. A lot of people complain about the terrible quality of balance of the game. so what I was thinking was; That riot adds a system to the client, where anyone who ever was challenger/master (and now also grandmaster) from every region will get an invite link to a discord server (the different languages might get different servers. however they'd want to do it) if they wish to join. this discord server will be a place for high elo players to voice their thoughts about the game's balance and how to improve it. For example, I see sooooo many videos of pro players talking about so many things that riot could do to improve their game. With this, riot could get hundreds and maybe even thousands of people contributing to making the game better. Since I don't believe anyone on riot's balance team is masters or higher, why not actually talk with the people who understand the game the very most. And maybe even, if they really want to get into extreme testing, they can make a whole client that they give a private download to the people who are on the discord server. this client will be where riot will add changes as soon as they decide "we're going to probably add this", so that people can actually test it out, and see how it'd fit into the game instead of simply guessing how it would be and wait a full 2 weeks to test it out, and realize it was a bad addition.

You're asking that the top 1% of players be given control over balancing the game.

No thanks.

first, you might be master/challenger that doesn't mean you know jack about how to balance the game or even articulate what you want from the game in a way that is sensitive and meaningful. Higher rank doesn't mean "I can balance the game better" it just means "I can play the game better than most" which guess what? that is what the playtest team is basically. You know the team that actually tests the changes being made before being put into the PBE and further provides insight on what is supposed to be a good change and what isn't?

A bronze player's insight can be just as helpful and insightful than someone who is in challenger. You can have every idea how to play the game well, how things work and many excellent ideas but be a mechanically inept and unable to execute on the things you say or think. The fact that you want Riot to essentially ignore the vast majority of the playerbase is hilarious. Riot doesn't balance for master+ players only they do it for all Elos. Yes they focues more on plat+ players but if a Silver elo is a dumpster fire then they will also do something for that elo
