Buying Pink wards after full build?

After you reach full build the 6 items slots are in use and the only way to get a pink ward through the yellow trinket upgrade however the other upgrade is much more useful since the 2 charges provide much more vision across the map. Shouldn't there be a way to utilize this item after that point without having to altering your inventory?

It's called opportunity costs and strategic diversity (cringe)

So, no, everything shouldn't be catered after you choose your items. Pick what strengths you want (vision control, in this example) and work around weaknesses (lesser pick potential because you can't camp a pinked bush)
