I was B1 last season and I do considerably better this time around going 8-2 in my promo's and what do I get? Put right back where I was. Sort of irritating, but I have finally found a champ to carry with 
so I'll start the climb. :D
Did you duo? If so, you won't have climbed far.
Also has a lot to do with S4 ranked MMR.

Got placed in gold 4
Back to plat 5 currently
Just keep playing and you will end up where you belong.
I heard that it wasn't possible to pass your previous rank, even if you win 10/10. Not sure if that's true but it's pretty believable.
