Darius and Renekton are bitc**s and Pantheon is their Pimp.
Pantheon is the most abused Toplaner.
Well, whenever I face against pantheon I just play super passive. The key point of making him useless is not engaging at all costs just sitting behind and not losing EXP. Fuck the cs fact is only works against pantheon. Because no matter what he got outscaled after the mid game. Whenever I pick tryndamere people pick pantheon to stop me and they outfarm ne somehow, after the lvl 12-13 I start 3 shotting him and making him absolutely useless. I played a lot of pantheon games too, and what made me gone mad is enemy playing super deffensive. Because if you cant get snowball you literally make the game 4v5 as pantheon.
rather than make a thread qqing about a champion, take a second to calm down, and try to ask a question like
I have trouble laning against pantheon, does anyone have any suggestions on how to play against him? The champions I usually play are __. Thanks.
people are going to be more apt to help you if you don't sound like you're just venting frustration from a recent game.
and just as a general tip for any champion you have a hard time playing against, play them if possible, play against a friend that has them who's willing to give you pointers, or watch videos of how people play them. Knowing how a champion works helps a lot in knowing how you can exploit their weaknesses to your advantage. Game/champion knowledge is a huge factor in getting better.
It isnt. And it shouldnt be. Nobody tolds you to go aggressive against him.
His Lategame is by far one of the weakest turning him into a Stunbot from an Midgame Assassin(?). Good early Game exists to compensate this.
Pantheon is a melee fighter toplane who excels at bullying and harassing his opponent during the laning phase who is outright snowball reliant and uses his ult to make plays across lanes. He has no cooldowns, relies on mana, falls off lategame.
Just yesterday I picked Pantheon, my opponent picked Malphite and he severely underestimated me at level 1. Basically he ate a lot of my spears and I was determined to make sure his shield didn't come back up. Eventually he got ballzy to try and 1v1 me with only his E and died as a result since I had enough health to tower dive+Q him.
It wasn't that Pantheon countered Malphite or that Malphite was too weak to stand up to the mighty pantheon, it was that he made a lot of mistakes and greatly underestimated how strong he was and didn't start with his Q. He also failed to recognise me stopping his passive from going up.
never has enough mana to actually sustain in lane unless he plays like a bitch.
Learn to play.
Simple: Pantheon sucks late game. So he might own your ass early game, but in the end, he can't do shit besides one CC move on an enemy.
Unless he goes full armor pen, and even so, it's really meh.
the fact that he falls off if you don't feed him
I just hope they rework him, since it's not fun to have that kind of advantage in the early game (that requires next to no mechanical skill) while being so useless later on. I hope they make him a funny bruiser like they did with Fiora.
As for your question you have a series of option:
Your main objective is to outsustain him. Either go for
+ 5
or
.
Don't go full armor but rather go for a mix of health and armor:

;
is also a good option if your champ has good base health regen. Delaying your normal build path in order to deny him his snowball is more than worth.
He has no reliable escape. Pull the minion line towards your turret so that your jungler can try and punish him.
Riven counters him, you start with E and shield every his Spear, at lvl 3 you all in and should be in you favor, at lvl6 you have a skill more than him (his ults isnt viable at 1v1)
If everything goes good you are in a good position, you freeze the lane and outscale him.
