I have been getting honors for a long time, but never got any ribbon for any honor. First I thought the number of honors that I've got isn't enough to get the ribbon but later I found out people are getting honor ribbon with a lower number of honors then me. I am not really sure how this stupid system works! I couldn't find any clear explanation of this honor thing. Some of riot's policy really suck ***!!

get a couple of reports and your toxic, get 440+ teamwork and 50 friendly's and get nothing .
It's vague to help prevent people farming the ribbons, but Riot already agrees that the system sucks. They intend to improve it (it's part of the ongoing Player Behavior Initiative). They are still neck deep in the new champ select, so the "initiative" may be on the back burner.
I've found that most of their ranking systems are broken and don't make sense. LP is fucking strange. MMR is totally off. Honor doesn't mean shit.
