Sion

Please revert his w nerfs and make his w useful. There are so many ways to shred tanks but there isn't much you can do to stop that. I got killed by a yi in 4 seconds as sion. Isn't he supposed to be a lategame tank? Allow him to do his job I don't have any ideas on how to buff him but i'm sure someone does.

doesnt he need like 300 cs just to keep up in health?

Pretty much

Playing Sion a lot, you're right that he needs some tender loving on his W, it really doesn't feel that useful lategame, but otherwise I think he is in a decent spot.

That's what I hate about Riot's design policy:

  • gives a champion scalling flat health per kill (or Tresh's passive)
  • gives the same champion garbage base health (or other stats)
  • results in champion having to either snowball or farm hard to just keep up with per-level health, only breaking even at 35/40+ mins

That's actually a long time for a tank given Master Yi can shred tanks so easily.

I've killed a 4k HP 400 armor Maokai in just under 3 seconds as Yi before. Almost died, though. (I had no lifesteal and he had item 3075)

Sion's current win-rate is pretty high, and he's got a notably strong laning phase, all things considered. Even so, it seems like he should be mid/late-game instead of early-game.

false

...How is it false? His winrate is at its highest in the first 25 minutes and it drops steadily until the 40-ish minute mark, where it perks back up. He has basically the same early/late-game stuff as Kindred. Good early just because of base numbers, kinda falls off mid if not sufficiently fed, and sort of inevitably scales back up for late.

Drops off steadily? More like it fucken plummets off a cliff

What he is saying is not false, I have seen the graph and it is exactly how he says. It dips down below 50% then rights back up again at the late game

I can't remember the last time I was able to pop my W in a team fight. It seems like just the AoE of enemies is enough to drain it.

Yeah i charge it up before i ult but even then they can drop some shit on me and break it lol.

I got a good buff

W active: charge duration reverted back to 2 seconds W passive: Now sion gains 1 health for every small creep/monster which dies nearby and 3 for big monesters/cannons. This is in addition to the 2/10 hp he gets from killing them. champion and epic monster takedowns now grant 25 health.

+1 base armor per level

Maybe this will actually make him a tad less clunky and a bit more tanky

And i have another more complicated buff its an extra passive on Sions ultimate called feel no pain

Feel no pain is a passive ability that will activate whenever Sion takes damage that exceeds 10% of his current health, reducing that damage by 40/50/60% depending on rank in ultimate. Feel no pain's damage reduction only applies to the portion of the damage that actually exceeds 10% of Sion's health, not the entire damage. For example: Sion has 1000/2000 health and is being hit by a 400 damage nuke (after resistances). The 10% of 1000 is 100. The 400 damage nuke exceeds 10% of current hp (100) by 300. The exceeding 300 damage will be reduced by 50% to 150 by passive. This means you will be dealt 250 damage instead of 400 because 150 was reduced by passive. Formula : ( [damage received] - ([current health] x 0.1) ) x [0,4/0.5/0,6] + [current health] x 0.1 = actual damage reduced.

This would be great! Sions passive is like kogs it's useless unless you plan on dying a lot

i love the passive, actually. when you do your job as a effing juggernaut tank, then die in a teamfight, the enemy has to waste another round of cc on you while your allies run rampert.

Crett1 votes

WOAh woah woah. That passive is way too good for full AD Sion. I'd rather he get something like %missing HP regen or something similar to make him a late-game GodTank 8)

sion cant have lots of health but tahm can get double 6000 with his E

To be fair, Yi is a high DPS champion. DPS champions tend to counter tanks since they shred through their defenses faster than they can regain them (unlike burst).

I don't have much problem with his shield in the jg because I don't try to use it as a sword and shield. Rather I use it as either sword or shield (and I max it first so I can be very tanky early on).

In top though, his shield breaks easily. Minion waves can take it down fast enough sometimes and the enemy doesn't need to waste an ability when they can simply break it with a few autos. And because of how mana hungry he is early, you can find yourself too low to use any abilities to punish them for taking the shield down.

Course I'm just impatient to CS without abilities.
