If the fillers werent so horribly animated, some could be pretty interesting to watch. But they hurt my eyes.

Also they put them in the most intense part of the arc so its hella anticlimatic.

Arc's that are not adapted from the storyline of the manga. One such example is the Three tailed beast arc that's going on right now on Toonami last I checked.

Basically while the writers are working on the next big story arc, there will be episodes that keep the show going between the arcs, hence the term filler.

Keep in mind that the events and experiences within the Filler don't come into play within the main story. So if a character learns something in the filler, expect it to almost never be brought up or made use of in the main story. Even if that something will benefit the cast. I say almost never because there will be a few writers within the industry that will try to story board it, but might ditch it if it proves too difficult.

Depends on how they do it. In case of Bleach the original author said do this as a filler because I canT do it myself and later in the comic he used content from the filler.

its been mostly fillers for like 3-4 years now. maybe even more. ever since the whole akatsuki konoha war ended and the great ninja was started. 80% fillers 20% real episodes. this last batch of filler was probably the longest. 6 months or so of straight filler episodes. some of them were actually better than some of the older fillers. but don't stretch them out that much. and yes some of them are badly animated. some are rather really funny and ok to watch

If there is one thing I dislike about playing support its this. I cannot tell you how many people get pissed when I don't "save" them. As if it was my fault you got caught by the whole enemy team. I rather you die than try and save you only to have them get two kills instead of one!

Easy, I'll help you. All we need is a 5 minute long "training montage" of you sitting somewhere "meditating". We then proceed playing the same montage every episode 1-2 times for the next 5 episodes. After that you'll be challenger tier at it. Easy.

Exactly why I can't watch anime anymore. I got hooked by Cowboy Bebop, but almost every other anime is just this crap.

Monologue, stare, 5 minute reaction shot, characters discuss event to death. Basically one 'thing' happens per episode, and everyone spends the other 23 minutes to 5 episodes talking it to death. It's just shitty writing, and I don't know how it has survived in its current state.

What I see most is when 1 person gets caught by 5 enemies, but they don't instantly die. However, they will still die in 5 seconds.

And I see ONE ally rushing to their aid during those 5 seconds, not caring about the enemies UNTIL the lone teammate dies, then they are like "oh shit they died, NOW I need to run" and then they get caught too while turning away.

Just...people need to recognize if a teammate is "dead" BEFORE they actually die.

Naruto is like the Game of Thrones of anime...90% of it is filler garbage, and the few good characters they actually have somehow are the only ones that manage to die off...the ones you can't stand are basically like cockroaches. RIP Pervy Sage, and Smokesalot Sensei (Asuma=./)

Some of the filler was pretty good.

-The Village Hidden in the Stars -The 12 Guardian Shinobi (SICK Earth Style cooperation ninjutsu) -The Land of Greens (had probably the coolest water release user besides Kisame and the 2nd) -Shippuden's three-tails arc, which I guess is filler? I don't know. Crystal Release was cool.

I don't know. I guess I just like the arcs where a really proficient nature release user is doing something cool. So many ninja shoot streams of water, or tiny lightning bolts, or fireballs. Where's 1st Hokage level wood release tearing up the battlefield and killing everyone on it simultaneously? That's what I want to see.

Kakashi dying in Pain's Assault was up there. Jiriya's fight with Pain was excellent. Super disappointed he wasn't resurrected for the Fourth Shinobi War.

True but sometimes the feeling of betrayal will get you and you still go in. Worse, people will give you shit for leaving them to die. Think pragmatically not emotionally.
