Counter Ekko?

I have recently had a lot of trouble playing against ekko whether in mid or top or even jungle. Are there any tips to countering his kit/playstyle?

Katarina harass hiim with q early game over and over, qwe him when he uses his q. burst him down over time bc he still does have mana and you dont. Diana farm 1-5 make him face the moonlight at level six when you went back for some rings and a negatron

I personally like Morgana against him since you almost hard counter a lot of what he has. A big one is you can eat his whole spell rotation and prevent him from using his passive, erm... either of his passives. You can even prevent an E -> point-blank Q -> passive spam combo if you're paying attention. I don't know if Ekko can ult out of a snare or stun. If he can, I've gone against some dumb Ekkos.

Annie Lotta point and click damage, and even has a point and click stun. Chogath The Mage Slayer, the silence ensures he won't be using his ult to escape. Lissandra What mobility? Malzahar Single target harass, ranged silence, point and click CC. The perfect Ekko killer. Morgana One snare is all it takes. Mordekaiser Damn near impossible to lose lane with this guy. The only way to beat him is to gank him, which is super easy, but sometimes junglers don't gank. Kayle You outrange him unless he all ins you, a lot of the damage comes from the passive so in a straight up fight, he'll lose if you can ult the passive. Karma The Melee Slayer Ryze The even better Melee Slayer Shen The Assassin Slayer Swain You haven't got enough burst to kill him post 6. Viktor Kites well, pokes well, just be careful about Ekko dodging the ult.

Yasuo has a generally fair match up against ekko but you have to play him to quite a refined point.

It depends on the champion you are playing. I'm not too sure about top laners, but from my general understanding he can live in top lane and farm, but he shouldn't have kill pressure unless you for some reason eat his Q's. Most traditional tanky bruiser top laners should be able to out damage him in early laning phase because he is so squishy. For mid lane, Fizz Azir Leblanc Yasuo are pretty much the only ones who have kill pressure on him while still being good later in the game. You can always go Varus KogMaw Xerath if you want to do the long range poke/farm to win play as well. Each of these champions can wave clear outside of his threat range making it very hard to kill you. You will also be able to deal damage to him before he can offer any retaliation later in the game. As for jungle, no comment.
