ITs so aparent that you're trying to force this garbage champ into worlds meta by removing most of his counterplay. Literally a pick or lose, never falls back, its hard to lose lane as him, broken hitboxes, too much unnecessary damage, and there's literally no counterplay to him running at you hooking you from 1150 meters away, doing 700 damage with his ultimate alone, silencing and knocking you up. Gratz you made a already extreamly unfair and unfun champ even more unfair and unfun.

This whole fkn game is a fiesta right now, and has been for like 2 seasons. Maybe even 3. And its only getting worse.

But we all stick around because we have this hope that it'll get better. Its like being in a toxic relationship. You remember and cherish the good times, so you stick around thinking it'll go back to that somehow.

LMAOOO the elo of the boards is insanely low, if you think blitz was UNFAIR before the change. After the change hes no different. People are just playing him more because of a "quality of life buff"and the low elo gods who cant dodge hooks have to face more blitzs so they cry more. The buff has done virtually nothing for him.

As someone that plays in bot lane and does not play blitz I would say give it some more time. People need to learn the new range and places that blitz likes to hook from, and it may balance out once people learn to play against him.

If there really wanted to buff the range on Blitz hook they could have at least balanced it a different way. Reducing Missile speed, making the skill shot thinner or giving a bigger delay before the hook is fired; these would make him less toxic to face in lane. Any combination of those would be good too.

Pro players have said this over and over and over again: Stop making patches for worlds since all it does is mess up the meta that everyone has spent countless hours trying to perfect just to have a patch screw everyone over and bring in cancer that nobody wants. Seriously sometimes Riot makes posts saying they don't buff champions for lcs / worlds but they pull this crap every year lol.. seeing a champion like Lee in every single worlds is just mentally insane at this point.

The reasoning for his buff was for him to be THE hook champ not naut or pyke etc

This is where the problem is ...

In the past the champions doing too well would have been nerfed such as damage but instead of this they keep these champions too strong and add another to the list

Even vanguards designed to do well vs them and disengage well dont seem to be doing well at all

Can’t play enchanters either to counter the damage after being pulled, because let’s not forget they gave him a buff a while back where his ultimate removes shields and THEN damages.

The thing is, Blitzcrank was already THE hook support, as they claimed he wasn't in the patch notes. No other champ's hook brings them all the way to the champion, the most is halfway. The problem is that he didn't do much after, and his competition - namely Pyke, can hook then get a pentakill thats counts as 10+ kills where Blitz can (quite fairly in comparison), kill just one at a time. So their solution is to buff his hook...by 100 range? He has two very braindead basic abilities that can be reworked into something fun but I guess not. Just buff his hook. Next time "Thresh isn't pulling people from 1.1k+ range, or getting pentakills so we're buffing his hook by 200 range and making his lantern last infinitely and he just moves it like Shen. That'll fix it.
