what can get u an s rank
so I just got a 15/0/6 game as cait and got an a+ while my morgana support went lets say 5 3 and 18 but got an s so I'm wondering what allows one to get an s ranking

Your mastery grade works on a percentile basis comparing you to all players using that champion in that role. So for example if you perform in the top 2% of all players in a particular champ/role combination, then you'll get an S+.
You don't necessarily need to win, and you don't necessarily need any particular kda/cs/etc, you just have to have a better overall performance based on whatever metrics riot happens to use compared to all other players in that role on that champ. So if the community on the whole is bad at a particular role/champ combo, then you can do relatively poorly and still get an ok grade.
Just gonna point out that your example Morgana has a higher kill participation than your example Caitlyn.
She probably also warded waaaaaaay more than you.
And with that many assists, I don't find it hard to imagine she was present at a lot of objectives.
Not to mention that the ranking system is partially relative to players in your game. It's fairly difficult for two or more players to get an S rank at the same time, so there's the small chance that her good grade curved yours down.
Get a crapton of CS. No really, seems to me like it is quite influenced by the amount of CS you have by the end of the game.
Play support or a off meta champ like mid lee sin, tF adc or top rengar. Dont die. and do decent.
