8.4 Tryndamere buff discussion

Since the start of per-season Tryndamere has been useless in competitive play, due to his lack of damage. The old runes and masteries provided enough attack damage and life steal to make him viable. With the old setup Tryndamere had an 85+ starting attack damage currently he has a 69 starting attack damage. The 8.4 buff was minuscule and as a result he still has a sub 50% win rate. Some Ideas for a 8.5 buff would be to increase his base damage by 16, to keep him in competitive play. Tryndamere is all about damage and crit, right now he has neither.

Tryndamere's damage is fine. What he lacks is the ability to deal with crowd control. I think they should revert his recent buff and give him something from Ornn's playbook. Make him unstoppable during the animation of his E. This would change almost nothing for his low elo play while making him way better in high elo.

Maybe make it so you can E out of stuns.

It being a cleanse would be too powerful and completely remove his weakness. The only ability I can think of that cleanses CC is Alistar's ultimate. Having that on something with a ~5 second cooldown would be broken.

By 16? he sits at 49.67% winrate according to op.gg and you want to increase his base ad by 23%?

With a 1% pick rate, that 49.67% win rate seems to be inflated by trynd mains. His damage was severely nerfed making it hard to trade early game with any champ, Trynd used to do massive damage/crit in the beginning. Now he does nothing all game.

Tryndamere has always been kinda similar to shaco Low playerbase nur pretty damn good Players. That doesn't mean that you can overbuff him.

His damage isn’t the problem, his damage has never been the problem

His problem has been his inability to fight from cc lock, and to a degree, it has to be that way.
