Ever since the move from Portland to Chicago West coast players have been stuck with bad latency to the servers. Can we get the option to have different servers for ranked based on location? Playing a league game with a 60+ ping difference, is cancer for ranked. If CSGO, Dota 2, and other competitive games can offer this feature, why can't riot?
ViciousSummoner1 votesI think, not 100% on this, that during the first server move a few people suggested something like so on the boards. This was back when they were located on the West Coast? (Back when Rito was just a wee lass.) The first move was due to ping related issues that the mid and east NA suffered from. People began to discuss about having 2 servers for each end and I believe a few Rioters commented and said something along the lines of that it was much easier just having 1 server.
