Mordekaiser suggestions
So, I think we've all figured out by now that Mordekaiser is frustrating to play against. He's not so bad early game, but once he gets going, there's not much you can do to stop him, at least in my experience. As is most champions when first released nowadays, I believe he is overloaded. I'm not saying we need to remove every little bonus effect he has, but I think we do need to tone it down.
Passive: Honestly, he has zero mobility, so the movement speed is nice but considering the fact that he builds Rylais and Liandrys makes it broken in my opinion, not to mention his E giving 25% magic pen. I think the damage and stuff is for the most part ok, might need to be toned down a little bit especially late game but I feel like in this case, it's not the ability, it's the items that he builds that synergize too well, although removing the movement speed could be an option. If he's going to excel in 1 v 1s, I think maybe he should only get the movement speed if he hits an isolated target with the Q. But like I said, I think that it's more the item's fault than the acutal ability here. It's just that he can shred basically any champion in the game by just standing next to them and this costs him nothing. For other champions, like Karthus this kind of AoE cost a bunch of mana per second at least, but Morde's is better because he has passive magic pen and max health damage built in.
Q: For the most part this is fine, it does what it's supposed to do. Like I said, maybe change the movement speed from his passive to his Q only for when he hits an isolated target.
W: This ability works fine as well, I think the amount of shield Mordekaiser gets should be toned down though. Yasuo has the same thing, as well as Tahm Kench, but they both have trade offs for this kind of shield. Yasuo's wears off fairly quickly and he has to walk around a bunch to build it up, it takes a little while to charge. Tahm has to make a choice of escaping and regaining the health or consuming it all as a shield. Morde gets the best of both worlds, it lasts a while, is easy to charge up, and can just gain instant health.
E: The only problem here is the passive magic pen. Tone that amount of pen down. I don't know what would be a healthy amount but it's just too much. Because of this magic pen, Morde just kind of shreds literally everyone in the game for free.
R: I have a suggestion here which would help solidify Morde as weak early game and super strong late game. Do not give him 10% of the enemy stats at every rank of the ability. Start it off low, at like 5% or something and as he levels it up, it goes up to 10 (Or higher, I think the highest this value should ever go is like 12%) as you rank up the ability. There is no reason to upgrade this ability over his E at rank 11. I've seen several streamers and youtubers just not upgrade his ultimate at all because all you get is a lower CD. Give players an incentive to actually upgrade his ultimate.
I know these are mostly nerfs, but I personally feel like nerfing a champion too much is a good way to go and then slowly buff them back up and stop once they're in a healthy spot. Mordekaiser just has a bunch of stuff that other champions have but for free because of no mana cost or even health cost anymore and as passives at that meaning he doesn't need to land an ability or something to gain these bonuses, he just has them.
