Veigar Changes

I've never had a problem with Veigar until recently, I used to love the little guy. Now every time I see, even on my own team, I let out a groan of disappointment and disapproval. Recently, I've been seeing an influx of Veigars who build full AP and then simply buy a Warmogs Armor. I'm going to say this now, I basically only play ARAM, this could be fine on Summoner's Rift, however in my experience, it's still painful and very frustrating to play against. So, I have some ideas, they're mostly nerfs, but I bet someone else could come up with something better. I'm kind of biased because of how much I hate him now.

So I honestly have no idea what we could do to his passive, sorry here, I don't want to remove it, but I think maybe it should be removed and changed to something else.

Q - If the passive is changed and no longer stacks AP, make it like Nasus where each minion earns you a certain amount of AP per kill. If the passive remains the same, I'm fine with this ability the way it is.

W - Lower the scaling. It does not need a 100% scaling AND have a reduced CD based on how many stacks he has. This thing is a nuke and easily destroys anyone, even a tank if Veigar does the smart thing and buys a Void Staff.

E - Alright, so this is my friend's idea. He's a long time Veigar main who like me is slowly starting to despise Veigar, he doesn't like it because he feels current Veigar feels too simple, as long as you land the E, you win, is what he says. And honestly, I'm normally the type to disagree and say there is counterplay, but in this case... no. If you get hit by this E, you're done for. My friend came up with the idea of having the E only grant ability power to his passive if you land the stun directly or maybe .5-1 second after putting it up. And then after that short time, the E is no longer a stun, but then a slow, like a Karthus wall. It will reward players who can actually land the ability and allow people to escape rather than feeling like they're screwed with no counterplay. Also the E seems a bit buggy recently, you'll still get stunned after the walls go down sometimes. I personally feel like this is his bread and butter.

R - Honestly, just nerf this thing a bit. Raise the CD, Lower the damage, something... it's a POINT AND CLICK NUKE. This thing just feels like a ranged Cho'gath R. Cho'gath at least has to get very close to do his nuke, Veigar can do it safely with few consequences.

I'm sorry if I came off as whiny, it's not my intent. But honestly, a ranged champion should not be able to nuke people, then also have enough health to build a warmogs and be extremely hard to kill. Please, if you can come up with something better, which I'm sure you guys can, then please do and post it below.

As someone who plays a ton of Veigar:

If you cant land your stun then you are pretty much f’d if the enemy team decides to commit.

Your stun has a relatively high cd so you cant spam it.

The stack to cd ratio is stupidly high, to get full benefit you need like 750+ stacks, has anyone ever gotten that many stacks in a single game? Most ppl get like 150-350 stacks in a game if it lasts 40 minutes.

Veiagar was always meant to be LoL’s resident nuker.

I enjoy playing him as is, and I also feel confident in my ability to play against him.

HINT: When he throws down his cage dont run into one of the sides, just run around the inside to avoid his comet strike ability and when his cage falls go in on him for the kill.
