How to deal with Vayne top as Rengar
My low Elo experiance with Vayne for over ~100 games:
Bushes are her nemesis. Vayne's entire kit is point-click, and running in and out of brush is the most irritating thing to deal with as Vayne.
Less so now with Trinkets, but I used to run CV with her prior to those due to how much momentum you can loose by Condemning someone in brush rather than out in the open.
One thing to keep in mind at any rate. If you play bush goalie you can at least be a massive pain, and if you can get off a solid burst, back off and hide, there's little chance anyone really wants to duel a Rengar in brush.
was also the single most cancer lane I've had to deal with as Vayne for what it's worth.
Recharges his stupid shield faster than you can wear him down with pew-pew, and every time you try to poke him down his minion-wave army can actually deal a substantial amount of damage back. Sure you can beat him levels 1~2, but then you're stuffed.
You might want to max rengar's armor/healing battle roar vs. Vayne and try to fast-push the wave. You may not do much to her, but she likely won't dish out much back (especially if you go
): and if she's always shoved you can roam, which is usually a fun thing to do as any assassin or fighter.
Also:
I tried to stay back and just farm with E. I had 28 cs while Vayne had 76...
Pretty much every lane match-up favors one champion poking their opponent to death, while the other champion wins by leaping on top of their opponent then relentlessly attacking them until they die or do some flash panic-attack escape.
Usually you'll loose a face-tank fight against an opponent if you out-range them, and you'll beat them in a ham-fest if you're out-ranged by them. Kinda like:

I haven't played a lot of Rengar, but my general sense is you want to be extremely aggressive and relentlessly attack the Vayne in that match up rather than the other way around. Make her fear you.
Obviously using ham tactics is easier said than done, there's a lot of maneuvering, watching minions, keeping an eye on the enemy jungler, and often using your summoner spells involved for pulling off ham-fest tactics.
But that's pretty much how most melee vs. ranged lanes work: if you can get within melee range and stay within melee range as a melee champion, you win. If you can keep at range and do things at range as a ranged champion you win.
