This game will never be a sniff close to balanced as long as Riot profits off of imbalance.
Balancing it for the LCS is only works until the pro player finds the newest loophole. Can we stop putting bandaids on leaky pipes restart entirely with skill numbers? Sometimes I think they're just pulling out of a hat.
Perfect balance makes for stale gameplay. The trick is to have imbalance that is checked by systems within the game. That is why itemization is so critical. Yes, some champions are stronger than others. But each champion has their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses that can be exploited, and itemization helps shore up or magnify these traits.
