How exactly am I supposed to splitpush now?

Not intended to be a QQ thread,

I was playing Tryndamere after the update (the new Mastery is hilarious), and past laning phase was splitpushing, as Tryndamere is known to do. At this point I couldn't help but feel like I was doing so blind, with the charge cooldown on the new totem being much higher than the Greater Stealth Totem I was used to. I buy pinks when I'm able, but come late game, when I'm approaching or at full build, how exactly am I supposed to adequately ward the enemy jungle while splitpushing when I don't have wards available? I could buy a Sightstone, but frankly I'm not buying a fucking Sightstone on Tryndamere, lol. Should I get the blue trinket, since it has a shorter charge CD?
