Jayce and Kayle top, how to counter?

So Im a shen main, and I have just been through some of the worst lanes ever. Those have been Jayce and Kayle. Jayce because of his quick shred and pop e q combo, where you can dodge 90% of them in the early game but one will just force your back. Kayle with her empowered e, infinite heals, and death defying let. her slowing orb, she just kites me out to infinity. I'm just wondering how to handle this since when Im under tower farming, I get dived solo and just bending over and taking it

As shen you basically do nothing. Both Kayle and jayce will dumpster you all day.

Tbh you can lilely beat kayle early but more often than not she will just hard shove the wave till she is at a point where she can kill you. Jungler ganks pre 6 will shut her down. Dont underestimate shens all in.

Jayce is another thing entirely he pokes you down rather than shoving wave, you try to fight him and he just slaps you away.

These two champs aswell as the likes of hiemer and teemo promote the pre rework playstyle of sacrificing your lane tower and farm to win botlane

Outscale, try to farm, if they overextend to punish under tower ask for ganks.

Kayle has a huge mana problem early since her heal costs between 60 and 80 mana I believe, her Q is like 50, and her E I think is also 40 or 50. Her E also auto shoves because splash damage. You should try to stack MR early against her and wait for ganks. Shen is a team fight oriented tank that focuses on scaling into the game. Kayle dumpsters tanks early because of her ranged autos and mixed damage.
