Tryndamere

I'm thinking that Tryndamere is going to need another stat update soon. If going AP is his strong point this season then there's an issue -He was meant to be an aggressive AD champion but tanks are SHREDDING him. Even with armor penetration he can't deal enough damage in time. I have to break my build and build something extra that is out of his original playstyle like a BlackCleaver or Something even more Inefficient so I can control Mobility like Gauntlet....It's good to be situational but even full build with Firstblood, Tryndamere can't really make a gameplay difference if even the squishiest mages get an extra 2.5k hp from the newer items. I'm kind of missing those ride or die Tryndamere out-sustain moments that makes our favorite king the barbarian he is. No one plays him anymore either and it's really sad ;( Long live the true king! EDIT: This is a Gameplay, Idea, and Issue. So I didn't know which board fit this discussion the most - Gameplay, Concepts/Creations, or General Discussion....

Ive been picking up trynd lately to moderate success. Id say a buff would be majorly appreciated but his strength is more in split pushing than snowballing, and the new herald buff and earth/wind dragons help him greatly. Have you been taking advantage of them?

Of course, give or take whenever we can loot them. I respect his split pushing potential since I do alot of it every time I play him...but there needs to be more than just using your ultimate to take turrets. CC destroys him....and there are too many champions on the rift that abuse it. 9 times out of 10 there are at least 3 lock downs/snares and 2 High Mobility champions. Tryndamere doesn't have the particular oomph that he used to against the way the skill set up is now. Respectively, it's ok that he can do alot of damage with the buffs, Sadly, not every champion needs them. He may or may not need a full kit rework but a boost would be nice. Say you are Tryndamere....you struggle against a Jax but got the kill giving you firstblood. Good job. Jax comes back in and bonks you on the head dumbo. You die that one time and that gold you accumulated up until that point of death means nothing cause dying gives your laning opponent the shutdown gold and absolute immunity to everything about you. You're dead, buy maybe a Sword, boots, and a few pots.....guy backs and comes back in rolling on 2 Swords, Cloth Armor, Boots, and 5 Pots.....what even?

Tryndamere relies on 3 things: Crit, His Ult, and His Q heal.

Because there are tanks that can literally 3 shot Tryndamere, we drop 25% of our damage and buy Defensively because if we buy Offensively, we're opening up our Health to the laning opponent who can already 3 hit you. - There goes our Crit.

Most tanks have high CC: Silence,Snare,Stun, etc. Tryndamere ults but CAN'T GO ANYWHERE...so he becomes a punching back until he dies. -There goes our ult.

Because of how Bursty or Anti-Mobil the tanks are, the Q heal makes it almost POINTLESS to use....you're just adding on like 500 hp that can be bonked off again with a Garen Q or Darius W/Q...hell, even an auto from a Top lane Graves. Even worse if they have On-Hit slow effects. -You lose your last hope Sustain.

Sure, you can say - Oh but I got 8 kills so I can 1v1 my top laner. Great man! How about the fed Caitlyn bot lane with the ranged poke/sustain? She's 8 and 0 but has CC escapes, A fine trap you have to creep your way around, and while she's being able to kite perfectly. There goes you being useful to your team...but hey, kuddos for being able to stop Gangplank top!

I love playing Tryndamere but he just doesn't fit the Barbarian Role anymore. He's more like a Cleanex wipe for your bloody nose....

You can already 1v9 in low elo, where players don't pack enough CC. Buffing him won't change much, because any sup with CC will wreck him. There are other strong splitpushers that don't rely on gimmicks to win the lane or push.

Late reply: Yea, no. Tryndamere can barely even 1v1 a Full AP Sona as of late even while staying on top of her. Buffing him would change ALOT.....and it's not just supports....every champion has CC at this point lmao - which still makes him useless, and my point of the thread was to be more wanting in playing Tryndamere, so why would It matter if I chose another champion if not to help this champion get back something useful for these next few seasons?

EDIT: How many Tryndameres do you see a game? XD I see 1 every few months if it isn't me. It sucks.
