The true lord known only as RNG Jesus

If you can't tell its crit; or Critical for the less gamer inclined but im sure everyone knows that. This stat might as well be offensive dodge or atleast similar to how it functions. It works on random number generation which isn't truly luck based but still requires you to be a matrix esc hacker while being able to play the game and if you can do that. I bet you would be a one man team in LCS. Its potential to burst someone when you have almost no crit based items or stats is pretty unbalanced because you can lose a fight due to never landing crits or landing much less. The fact that every ADC rushes IE and goes from a DPS dealer to a burst ranged auto based mage is well ludicrous. there is no counter to Critical strike worth a damn, yes armor helps but its sad that crit will still break through with the most cost effective ad item in the game 'last whisper' now of course this is alot of gold sunk into items to do damage but why must the damage be randomized? why can't IE offer increasing damage while you just buff things like Phantom dancer and other crit items to either give more attack speed or move speed or etc. Sorry for ranting on, i just don't think crit should stay if dodge was considered too toxic and they function on the same basic principle of how lucky you are.

TL;DR: Crit bad, sustained judgable damage Good

If crit % was changed to increased AA damage, I would really like to see how it would impact crit runes.

Would ADC's bring a full crit rune? How many crit runes will be carried by junglers (since they AA so many times)?

It isn't truly random. Riot 'weighted' the RNG a long ways back to avoid situations where people would get a run of several crits all in a row, or go a long period of time without getting any. Its not exact, it isn't so reliable as, "every fourth hit" kind of thing, but it also isn't entirely random.

The counter is catching them and bursting them down easy. If you get beat by an adc, you let them shoot you too long. Which means bad positioning/focus in teamfights, or unwise 1v1 attempts.

If you have a better idea to keep adc's viable add it to your post instead of just complaining about it
