Riven seriously needs some changes

why is that riven's only determining factor on if they win or lose is how good they are with the champ? I understand maining a champ has its benifits (eve main since s2) but you shouldn't be able to single handly carry an even game as just one champ, let alone miss half your abilities and still kill a marksman. I know this is another whine post but Riven is in serious need of change or nerf. she has no weak levels other than level one and everyone is limited at lvl 1 as it is. armour doesn't affect her damage because she just builds armour pen so her abilities and extremely over tuned auto based passive will hurt. Shes and AD caster with almost no limits oh how well she can be and the fact that she has no issue taking zero magic resist in her runes to get more CD which than makes her go from being balanced to overpowered. Riven has gap closer, steroids, ranged based execution, wall jumping. Her kit is way too overloaded to warrant the amount of damage she can do while taking very little due to her shield. Keep her skill level high but don't let her kit become something that can win fights single handly when its a equal game.

P.s. silences keep getting nerfed so shes rising in power due to having one less hard counter

Why were you building lifesteal on Nasus?

Edit: Honestly, I don't think she is that bad, annoying as fuck when ahead, but don't think she is all that bad, likely because I know how to play against her and counter her with my main, but meph.

I think she's a bit on the strong side and I think another small nerf should be handed out. Personally, I'd like to see her CD slightly hihger in the early game. Especially of her Q so that there's a bigger window of opportunity to get her when she used her 3rd Q.

Being able to slip in supercharged basic attacks DURING her q is a major part of what makes her broken but also is a major part of her skill cap.

Riven is a bad teamfighter. If she uses her Q to get close, she loses a ton of damage. She is wrecked by CC harder than most mages and assassins and gets blown up easily if she tries to dive back line too early.

She's really good at skirmishing and split pushing, but I've never had problems dealing with her when it comes to teamfights.

Only exception is when the entire team fed hard. If the enemy team has already pushed you to base, don't expect to beat Riven. She's like every other snowball assassin.

Riven does not need nerfs. Let me explain. There are different champions that excel at different stages of the game. We have the early advantage champions like in this case Riven, we have champions which scales alright with a nice kit like Maokai, and we have late game monsters who just outscale everything like Nasus.

In order for Riven (and other early game carries) to truly win a game all by herself, she has to win her lane. If she is up against a Maokai and goes even, i'd rather have a Maokai on my team anyday. All Maokai (and other champions like him) has to do to come out ahead is not die early. Which one is harder? Getting a kill or not dying?

Is Riven frustrating to play against? Early levels, yes, when she is 3/0 in lane, very much so. When she is 0/0/0 or worse, not so much. I could argue the same thing about Nasus, is it frustrating to play against him? Early level, not at all. Late game, oh yes.

You always have a choice against Riven, pick something that is hard for her to deal with and don't die. Also, armor helps a lot! Well, not if you're already behind, but grab a frozen heart or some other heavy armor item asap and she won't be able to keep up with the armor pen.

Just my 2 cents.

Just played a ranked with riven beating our Panth top pretty bad. Guess what? we still won. I was support volibear, peeled for my squishies and EXHAUSTED her. Seriously why are people still complaining about riven in this meta? Counterpick her with Garen and just win. If you have a comp with no peel or exhaust then that's your own damn fault.

AD casters naturally fall off compared to autoattackers. That alone makes her a very risky pick.
