Is it possible to fight a kog'maw is a tank? Should I just leave him alone or something? I'm not sure what items you can build as a tank that would help you live long enough in fights. I tried stacking resists and getting a thornmail but it made little difference. I was dying in 4-5 seconds no matter the situation. How do you play against kog'maw now? do I just leave him to assassins or what? any help or info would be helpful. Just curious on a good gameplan.
CC him while he shoots, kill him in half a second, he can not move without extremely cutting down his DPS due to how his W works. THat, is, of course, if he hasn't been completey destroyed in lane as is usually the case.

Since he deals heavily reduced damage but procs the return damage every hit, these two murder him in seconds, especially if you have a lot of armor for them to scale with.
In these days i found the absolute nightmares for poor Koggy: Annie and Rammus Seriously those 2 champs are a nightmare for this guy. Annie has a shield that is damaging the enemies when they attack her and since Kog is not a crit champ now, combined with that insane attack speed he literally killing himself when Annie's shield is active (just for numbers her shield dealt more damage than her ult like wtf) With Rammus it is the same but he has a taunt so he can force Koggy to attack him when his W is active and his HP just melting down with each hit while Rammus just laughing in your face. Ofc. you can destroy him in the lane , till he gets the rageblade, that item is so godly on this guy
